Graduate students seeking the M.M. in Musicology will find that the Frost School offers a balanced curriculum of study in music literature, analysis, performance, and research methods, culminating with a master’s thesis. The program is dedicated to helping you fulfill your musical and academic goals while preparing you for advanced study. Musicology majors interact with students in a variety of musical disciplines, gaining insight into the role their own specialization plays in a thriving musical environment.

Frost School students have extensive library resources available to them, including a vast assortment of music scores, recordings and reference materials; an extensive collection of music for performance; and an impressive Latin American collection, including folk music and the music of Latin American composers.
