Festival Miami, the
annual music festival that opens the South Florida arts season,
provides superior and diverse musical programming each year, while
expanding academic opportunities and cultural enrichment to all of
South Florida and its visitors. Festival Miami embarks on a
new era in its 25th Anniversary Season with the expansion into two
new venues, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, and
the BankUnited Center at the University of Miami, furthering its
commitment to reaching out to new audiences.
This
year Festival Miami welcomes Dean Shelton Berg as its Executive
Director. Dean Berg’s vision for the 25th season of
Festival Miami presents 23 concerts over a four week period, with
each week having its own unique theme. The four one-week themes
include “Great Performances,” “Jazz and Beyond,” “Creative American
Music,” and “Music of the Americas.” |

The community is invited
to partake in all that Festival Miami has to offer - from world
premieres and symphonic concerts, to chamber music presentations and
jazz performances, and much more!
