he Master's degree in Musicology curriculum offers a balanced program of study in music literature, analysis, performance, and research methods,culminating with a master's thesis. The program is dedicated to helping students fulfill their musical and academic goals and to preparing them for advanced study. Musicology majors interact with students in a variety of musical disciplines, gaining insight into the role their own specialization plays in a thriving musical environment. Students have extensive library resources available to them through the Richter Library and the Albert Pick Music Library. The music library collection contains a vast assortment of music scores, recordings and reference materials; an extensive collection of music for performance; and an impressive Latin American collection, including folk music and the music of Latin American composers.
