UM MusicTime, offered by the Music Education Program at the Frost School, is a program of music learning and enjoyment for children from birth to eight years of age which offers a full and varied music curriculum, including singing, listening, ear training, movement, playing instruments, and musical notation.

There are five curricula from which to choose:

MusicTime for Babies
(Birth to 15 months)

MusicTime 1
(15 months to age 3)

MusicTime 2
(Ages 3 to 4)

MusicTime 3
(Ages 4 to 6)

MusicTime 4
(Ages 6 to 8)

UM MusicTime Summer Camp

The program, led by Dr. Joyce Jordan-DeCarbo and Dr. Joy Galliford, is taught by instructors with specialized training in early childhood music education. The program at UM has been thriving since 1987, and serves approximately 1,300 children annually at various sites in Miami-Dade County.
